Printing formats

A4 / US Letter + A0

Every pattern includes a home-printing file compatible with both A4 and US Letter paper, as well as an A0 large-format file for copy-shop or professional printing.

How to print & assemble

Print at 100% / Actual Size, with scaling turned off.

Print the first page only and check the 5 × 5 cm test square before printing the full pattern.

For A4/Letter files, trim the indicated edges and assemble the pages by matching the corresponding edges. You can also have the A0 file printed at a copy shop or online pattern-printing service.

For the most accurate printing and to ensure the pattern scale is preserved, we recommend opening and printing your files with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is free to download and also gives you access to the pattern's Layers feature, allowing you to display and print only the size or sizes you need. The Layers feature may not be available when opening the PDF directly in your browser or with other PDF viewers.

By far one of the best patterns + instructions I've ever purchased. Highly recommend! I've added little bows on my skirt and finished it with a zipper on the back :)

Absolutely love this pattern. The video tutorial was VERY helpful and I recommend watching it first. I already have plans to make another skirt. This time actually with pockets and pin tucks! Was in a huge rush for this lol. Thank you!

My first pass of this pattern I hated it. I would recommend making a mock up of the whole skirt to see how the ties look and how the dress flows. I re-made it with a super thin cotton and low waist (high waist felt very high) and now I love it. Note that the tie closure doesn't sit closed all the way, so you can add hook and eye closures or use a patterned fabric so you can't tell

I'm so happy with how this skirt came out! It's very flattering. I took three inches off of the skirt, initially intending to do the 12cm hem, but decided I actually wanted to have it longer once I was done lol. So I did a 1" hem. I'm 5'0" for reference. I used linen from dharma trading, 5.3 oz/sq yd.

I'm a beginner sewer and read the reviews that this was easy but I made mistakes multiple times throughout even with the youtube tutorial. Specifically around cutting "on the fold" (didn't know what that meant and cut my fabric incorrectly although now I understand this to be a common term), understanding that we need to make our own middle line in the pintuck (I did not and thought we needed to draw the pintuck lines at the top and bottom of the line that has the arrow), when gathering the way she does in the youtube video it doesn't work.

I can see that many others found this super easy and great, but as a total beginner I found this pattern to be quite difficult.

I'm sure that someone with more experience (and even me in the future when I attempt this skirt again) would find this easy

I never usually write reviews, but I just had to for this skirt. I bought and tried other patterns but this is THE BEST for a basque skirt. First, it has pockets - amazing. It’s also pretty size inclusive, and straightforward w a YouTube vid in case. The inside structure is pretty neat, minimal use of serger/overlocking stitches just for the sides. Also, there’s an option for high or low waist baddies. Highly recommend!

The pattern pieces were precise. Contained both written instructions and a sew along. My version was made without adjustments to the pattern and came out like the prototype.

I have only just bought the pattern so have not yet made it. But there is a video tutorial on youtube which makes it look do-able!
