Fabric

The optimal fabric is a woven fabric with a tad of stretch (10-15%). But it's find without stretch too as the skirt isn't hugging.
Use corduroy, denim, crepe, satin, wool, linen, polyviscose, tencel... My fabric here is a georgette crepe.

Notions & supplies
  • Light, fusible interfacing to reinforce the zipper area
  • One 30 cm long invisible zipper

Printing formats

A4 / US Letter + A0

Every pattern includes a home-printing file compatible with both A4 and US Letter paper, as well as an A0 large-format file for copy-shop or professional printing.

How to print & assemble

Print at 100% / Actual Size, with scaling turned off.

Print the first page only and check the 5 × 5 cm test square before printing the full pattern.

For A4/Letter files, trim the indicated edges and assemble the pages by matching the corresponding edges. You can also have the A0 file printed at a copy shop or online pattern-printing service.

For the most accurate printing and to ensure the pattern scale is preserved, we recommend opening and printing your files with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is free to download and also gives you access to the pattern's Layers feature, allowing you to display and print only the size or sizes you need. The Layers feature may not be available when opening the PDF directly in your browser or with other PDF viewers.

I love it! struggle with the zipper a little bit but skirt fits perfectly 👌🏼

Absolutely love this skirt pattern. For reference, I’m normally a size 6 (US) in bottoms and my mockup in size medium fit, but was a slightly tighter fit than I like. I’ve made a couple now of these skirts now. The first was made with non stretch cotton twill in size large, and it does not hug my waist at all but is very comfy and still flattering I think! The other I made in a non stretch cream denim, and is size large at the hips, sloping to somewhere between large and medium just up at the waist. I love both and can’t wait to make more in different fabrics, colors, and prints! The sew along was very helpful.

This is the best skirt pattern I've ever used. The fit is perfect, length exactly what I wanted and Isa's instructions super clear.

The pattern makes a super cute, professional looking skirt with minimal fabric usage! She has a video to show you how to put the skirt together which I found very helpful!

Some notes: I felt that the seam allowance for the zipper was too small, which made it difficult to sew. Also, the pattern is way larger than the size guide - I used the xs and had to remove 3” from the skirt waistband and I have a 27” waist, which is larger than the size guide for a xs (also the skirt is hard to take in once you can put it on due to darts and the zipper). Additionally I had to remove ~8” from the hem because it was too long for my liking (I am 5’9” for reference).

The pattern was easy to cut, the video easy to follow, the final product fabulous. I would highly recommend these patterns.

The pattern is lovely and very flattering! I made it out of a nice black wool for winter, and although it turned out to be too big, some alterations easily fixed it. Going to make a second one in the smaller size!
Isa was also very quick to answer a few small questions I had!

I wish there were written instructions along w the video. Found it hard to connect the facing at the top of the zipper.

The scaling of the pattern was off I, think it was huge. like 10cm off. otherwise good

Love it! I did a lapped zipper instead of an invisible zipper but otherwise followed the pattern, and it's so cute! I used a stretch denim and it's very flattering. The video tutorial was very helpful
